duration of training	3 years (exception 2,5)
training-system	Dual training system: in-job-training and vocational school
duration of vocational school	1. year: 11 weeks in periods. 1st examination in the end of 1st year. 2. year: 10 weeks in periods. Intermediate examination in the end of 2nd year 3. year: 10 weeks in periods. Final examination in the end of 3rd year
content of training	in-job-training, technology and practical lessons in vocational school: themes relating to orders and all other subjects (e.g. German, social studies), external in-job-trainig (using electricals saws) organised from the chamber of handicrafts
specials	trainee´s exercise book with daily entries about the done work as proof of training
education allowance - monthly wages (currently) wage - tariff:	1st year: 630,00 € 2nd year: 680,00 € 3rd year: 750,00 € remuneration: 14,98 € (E6 = 100%) per working hour
possibility of advanced education	parquet-layer-master, technican, conservator, managemet expert in handicraft, student at universities for applied science (e.g. engineer)
career opportunities	parquet-layer-journeyman, floor-layer as team leader, works manager, independent works manager, employed parquet-layer-master, parquet-layer-master in own business, all above named are allowed to take trainees, conservator for parquet, legal appointed and inaugurated expert for parquet and flooring
